Course: Facilitating Student Practice
Description
Research has shown that when someone is lecturing, students attend less than half the time to what is being said and retain little, especially after the first 10 minutes. Start this module to learn how you must help your students balance receiving knowledge with USING knowledge. When it comes to learning above the lowest levels of factual recall, active participation and involvement are necessary. Active learning activities can provide feedback to both the student and the teacher so that learning and teaching can be adjusted as necessary to confirm mastery of learning.
